Who Can Purchase?
You have to be 21 or older with a valid ID to buy cannabis in Washington. That goes for everything: flower, edibles, concentrates, and topicals.
Possession Limits
If you're 21 or older, you can carry:
- 1 ounce of usable cannabis
- 16 ounces of cannabis-infused products in solid form
- 72 ounces of cannabis-infused products in liquid form
- 7 grams of cannabis concentrate
Where Can You Consume?
Using cannabis in public isn't allowed. Keep it to private property, and get the owner's okay first. That covers smoking, vaping, and eating edibles.
Driving
Driving high is illegal, full stop. If you've consumed, line up a designated driver or grab a rideshare.
